Lentils and dry beans are a rich source of proteins for the vegetarian diet. Lentils form an essential part of the Indian meal, and are used in different dishes like soups, snacks and as a rice accompaniment. Alldry beans can be sprouted and are known to be richer in proteins, in this form.
Lentils are grown all over India, with a wide variety of lentils available to choose from. We source our lentils from a group of small farmers in the central part of India.

Organic Green Moong Beans
The most popular of all, Green Moong Beans are used in a variety of Asian and Indian dishes. These are commonly found in Indian meals, Asian stir-fry dishes and salads.
According to Ayurveda (ancient Indian medicinal science), moong has the least tendency to cause flatulence. It is easily digestible and is considered an ideal food for the sick and children. It is known to have diuretic qualities, and is good for breaking down kidney stones.
Organic Desi Chana daal (Chick peas)
Chana daal or chickpeas, is similar to but smaller in size than the garbanzo bean. This is a popular Indian Lentil, and is used widely in a variety of snacks, soups and rice accompaniments.
